With Hearts of Gratitude

As Thanksgiving fast approaches, our hearts at Sharing is Caring Aid remain focused on the many blessings we are grateful for. At the top of that list is you, our supporters, donors, volunteers, and prayer partners, whose generosity allows us to continue serving local families in their moments of greatest need. Every bag of groceries, every piece of clothing, every household item, and every act of kindness is made possible because of the people who believe in this mission.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to reconnect with several families we’ve helped over the years. These conversations reminded us not only why we do this work, but how deeply kindness can ripple through a community.

One story especially touched our hearts.

A longtime community member shared how she first came to know Sharing is Caring shortly after moving to the area. At the time, she and her husband were struggling. She was unemployed, transportation was limited, and even keeping up with basic bills was overwhelming. There were moments when groceries were out of reach.

Thanks to the support of generous people, we were able to deliver food to them. We also provided kitchen and household items to help lighten their burden. Over time, she got back on her feet, a steady job, a stable home, and with renewed hope, she began giving back to others in need, just as others once gave to her.

Today, she’s a proud homeowner with a good-paying job. She continues to believe deeply in the power of prayer, community, and what can happen when people come together to lift each other. Her journey is a beautiful reminder that when we share, we plant seeds of hope that grow for years to come.

Thank You

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in this work. Thank you for caring about your neighbors. And thank you for continuing to be part of the Sharing is Caring Aid family. Together, we are building a stronger, kinder, more connected community.

If you’d like to donate or learn more about how you can help this holiday season, please reach out. We would love to hear from you. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

With gratitude,

Sharing is Caring Aid
