A New Start ... and the Same Mission

For the past 12 years, we’ve been walking alongside our neighbors, one family, one meal, one act of kindness at a time. What started as a small group of us pooling our own resources has grown into a grassroots movement of compassion right here in Metro Detroit.
We’ve seen firsthand what hardship looks like: a parent skipping meals so their children can eat, seniors choosing between medication and groceries, young people trying to stay hopeful despite impossible odds. And time and again, we’ve also seen what happens when someone simply shows up with care and consistency. Lives change. Hope returns.
Our mission has always been simple: to meet people where they are and to help them meet their most basic needs, such as food, hygiene, dignity, and connection. But the need around us has grown beyond what we can sustain on our own. Every week, more families reach out for help, and too often, we have to stretch our resources to the breaking point just to respond.
That’s why we’re asking for your partnership.
With your financial support, we can expand this work to reach more individuals and families in need, not just with emergency assistance, but with the consistent presence and practical help that rebuilds lives. Your generosity will help us provide food, clothing, essential supplies, and a sense of belonging to those who are struggling the most.
We’ve proven what’s possible when compassion leads the way. Now, with your help, we can take that impact even further.
Your financial donation made to Sharing Is Caring Aid will allow us to help people whose needs cannot be met by members of the community acting alone. Your financial contribution will join with those of other supporters and allow us all to help many more people in our community. If you can, please prayerfully consider a recurring, monthly donation. Donations like this allow us to more effectively budget and meet the needs of people both now, and in the future.
Please join us in kindness, in action, and in hope, as we continue to serve Metro Detroit with open hands and open hearts. Together, we can ensure that no neighbor is left behind.
Sharing Is Caring Aid is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of State and Federal Law.
